Why Rocky Mountain Apps

The way we build

Fast & focused

Tools that do one thing exceptionally well, with no bloat.

🔒

Your data stays yours

We never sell your data — and Tuck keeps your budget on your device.

Free tiers that stay free

Real free plans, not trials that expire on you.

How we work

From itch to shipped

01

Build for a real need

Every product starts as something we wanted ourselves. If it does not survive our own daily use, it does not ship.

02

Ship small, polish hard

Focused scope, fast interfaces, no feature bloat. A tool should feel lighter after a year of updates, not heavier.

03

Play it straight

No selling your data, no dark patterns, no trials that quietly expire. Paid tiers keep the free ones sustainable.

04

Stick around

Support comes from the people who wrote the code, and tools are built to be trusted for years, not seasons.

Questions, answered

The short version of the fine print

Are the free plans really free?

Yes. Our free tiers are designed to stay free — they are not time-boxed trials. Paid tiers exist for people who want more, and they are what keep the free ones sustainable.

What do you do with my data?

We never sell it — your data is not the product. Some free tools may show ads to stay free, but Tuck, where the data is most personal, goes further: offline-first, your budget on your device, encrypted sync. Each product page has the details for that product.

Who is behind Rocky Mountain Apps?

A small, senior software team based in the Rocky Mountain region, building independently. We would rather do a few things exceptionally than everything adequately.

How do I get help with a product?

Use the contact form or email contact@rockymountainapps.com. We read every message and typically respond within 24 hours — and the person replying helped build the product.

Do you take on partnerships or custom work?

We are open to the conversation. Tell us what you are building through the contact page and we will get back to you.

What is coming next?

The lineup is growing — Linked Ascent (LinkedIn outreach) and PortsMapper (environment inventory) are in the works now. The products page is always the current picture.
